Lake Woodlands

The Woodlands, Texas

Lake Woodlands, established in 1984, serves as a recreational amenity for the surrounding Woodlands residential and corporate community. Neighborhoods border the western and eastern shores, while major corporate campuses, retail centers, and multifamily developments are also strategically located around the shores. Several of these surrounding improvements, as well as the Hughes Landing master plan, were designed by Ziegler Cooper Architects.

Research Forest Lakeside, nestled between the eastern shore of Lake Woodlands and abundant natural groves, is a premier 11-building, 77-acre commercial office development, comprising a total of 1,615,198 square feet of office space, 36,552 square feet of retail, and 4,694 parking spaces. The development offers complete flexibility for multiple tenant and single corporate occupancy and maximizes the site’s many natural attributes.

The newest 150,000-square-foot office building on the former Chicago Bridge & Iron Corporate Headquarters campus, now rebranded as Lake Front North in Hughes Landing, was completed in August of 2014, and faces the northern lakeshore. Offering unique opportunities for lifestyle enhancement for employees and visitors, the campus was thoughtfully designed with exit strategy in mind, while perfectly serving our client’s needs and wishes. The siting and spacing of buildings accommodates the splitting off of individual buildings from corporate-owned functions, by leaving room to create a future separate lobby and entrance for multi-tenant use.

East Shore Place is a 53,000-square-foot mixed-use site located at the entrance to the affluent East Shore neighborhood at the northwest corner of Grogans Mill Road and East Shore Drive. This two-level expansion offers retail, restaurant and professional space on the ground floor, and specialty office and medical space on the second floor. This new center is, conveniently, just a few minutes’ walk from the shores of Lake Woodlands.

Situated in the 66-acre mixed-use Hughes Landing development nestled between Town Center and Research Forest on Lake Woodlands, One Lake’s Edge, is an 825,000 square-foot, 390-unit multifamily development. The building features panoramic views of the lake and is mere steps away from the shopping, dining and entertainment available at Hughes Landing.
