New Corporate Headquarters for Rosetta Resources Supports Fellowship and Encourages Collaboration
Ziegler Cooper Architects is pleased to announce the completion of a 108,565 square foot, corporate headquarters of Rosetta Resources, an independent oil and gas company located on four contiguous floors of Heritage Plaza in Houston’s Central Business District.
The new design features an expansive open reception with elegant finishes including travertine flooring and walnut paneling to provide a warm and welcoming aesthetic. To combat any disconnection between employees on multiple floors, community centers were located on each floor at the interconnecting stair to support Rosetta Resources culture of fellowship and encourage collaboration. Select pallets of accent colors vary from floor to floor creating architectural interest and way-finding cues. Backlit colored glass panels at stair landings and elevator lobbies reinforce this design solution.
“Rosetta Resources is a growing company with a strong culture and sense of community. It was key that the multi-floor space did not disrupt this in any way. The community centers are now the heart of the space and serve as centralized areas for employees of all floors to gather and connect,” says Catherine Runner, IIDA, LEED AP, a senior associate with Ziegler Cooper Architects.
State-of-the-art conference facilities can serve as presentation or training areas and allow for phone and video conferencing. A large, dividable multi-purpose room accommodates multi-sized groups. Open seating areas with technology access on each floor create the opportunity for impromptu meetings. Additional backlit glass panels at conferencing and training areas feature company imagery reinforcing the corporate culture.
