General Position Summary
Senior Marketing Coordinator/Manager works with ZCA Leadership, Practice Area Leaders and marketing professionals in the support of an overall marketing strategy for the firm and production of high-quality marketing materials including brochures, RFQ’s, RFP’s, presentations, award submittals, annual surveys, and various other marketing materials to showcase Ziegler Cooper’s professional expertise.
Position Responsibilities
- Respond to RFPs and RFQs successfully.
- Create or lead the creation of annual surveys, e-blasts, and mailers (announcements, annual calendar, case studies, postcards, specialty mailers, white papers, etc.).
- Coordinate public relations and editorial calendars.
- Coordination and prepare internal and external marketing events.
- Create, develop, write, and manage production of new professional bios and personnel resumes, specialty brochures, mailers, announcements, case studies, project descriptions, etc. in coordination with practice leaders.
- Work with Business Development Manager to gather information about prospects and participate in proposal strategy in support of firm’s principals and other marketing professionals
- Assist in coordination of photography bids, cost sharing and coordination with practice leaders.
- Award Submittals & Awards Calendar Lead.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials for firm.
- Expert knowledge of presentation software along with strong presentation design skills.
- Create, maintain and upkeep of marketing collateral
- Plan, analyze, and create graphics to support content in marketing material.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Skills & Abilities
- Excellence in Microsoft Office Package, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with strong editing and proof readings skills.
- Desktop publishing experience (InDesign and Photoshop a must, Illustrator a plus).
- Interact directly with Senior Principals as well as staff at all levels.
- Creative, well organized, capable of prioritizing and being proactive.
- Ability to maintain a strong sense of focus and confidence under tight deadlines and varying workloads.
- Excellent ability to multi-task and respond to constantly changing needs and schedules.
Education and Experience
- Experience with a CRM is a plus
- 4-5 years of prior marketing experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry.
- Prior experience with Position Responsibilities listed above.
- Candidates must have a 4-year bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, English or Journalism recommended).
- Be an active member of SMPS or other similar organizations for career development.
