At 4,619 square feet, it combines executive and leasing teams into one boutique sized office that is in line with their mission to provide exceptional work environments, fosters collaboration among the teams, and helps improve service excellence. The space represents a fresh identity, showing who Parkway is, what makes Parkway special, and how people can connect with the company in a meaningful way.
With all glass office fronts throughout the space every office is given the the best views to the surrounding galleria area neighborhood and uninterrupted views of downtown Houston. In order to encourage activity and flexibility for this new collaborative space, offices are equipped with sit/stand desks, a range of furniture settings and sleek sliding glass partitions. Parkway wanted to provide amenities that would draw employees out of their offices, so that movement and spontaneous collaboration would become part of their culture. These amenities took the form of a break room, a standing height conference room, and multiple impromptu meeting areas.
Located in the heart of Briargrove/Tanglewood area, it was crucial that Ziegler Cooper’s design solution reflected the urban energy, creative spirit, and modern sophistication of Parkway’s forward thinking mission.
Staff and guests are immediately greeted with a custom neon sign right off the elevator lobby that captures the energy of Parkway along with industrial open ceilings, hot rolled steel panels, brick and concrete to reflect a more progressive office space in a conventional high-rise commercial building.
Anchoring the largely open and transparent space and welcoming visitors is a colorful built-in banquette, which allows for impromptu meetings adjacent to the central conference table with the standing meeting table.
