When GEMSA approached ZCA about helping with the office relocation they made it clear that they were looking for a well-designed space that would be within budget and meet their tight schedule. GEMSA had a construction committee that was very focused on meeting their goals and deadlines, GEMSA was able to provide clear direction and also make quick decisions, this was key in meeting the tight schedule. The new furniture in open plan had lower panels to aid in communication but were tall enough to offer visual privacy when seated. All offices had glass front to also aid in communication and keep the open feel. Offering sustainable solutions was also key in the overall design process.
