Ziegler Cooper Architects Strengthens Design Leadership in Corporate Interiors Studio
Houston, Texas (Monday, March 07, 2016) Ziegler Cooper Architects has strategically organized emerging leaders in their Corporate Interiors studio to provide enhanced design leadership with two, newly assigned, Interior Design Director roles. Liz Friedman, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C and Manuel Navarro, IIDA will work under the direction of Interior Design Principal, Jim Hanlin, IIDA, TAID as Interior Design Directors and creative leaders in the Corporate Interiors studio.

As Interior Design Directors, Friedman and Navarro will oversee the design efforts of the Corporate Interiors studio, actively engaging with clients and project teams, while elevating firm design standards throughout interiors projects.
Navarro recently joined Ziegler Cooper Architects as a Senior Associate and Interior Design Director. “With Manuel’s hire, Ziegler Cooper’s Corporate Interiors studio broadens its capabilities to provide our clients with the highest level of workplace design,” says Scott Ziegler, AIA, Founding Principal.
Navarro comes to Ziegler Cooper from lauckgroup in Austin, Texas, where he served as Senior Interior Designer for the past three years. While at lauckgroup, Navarro worked with many notable clients including Dropbox, Under Armour, Planview, Atlassian and SolarWinds.
His portfolio of workplace solutions for technology clients reflects a forward thinking, innovative approach to modern offices.
Friedman’s past experience as a Senior Project Designer at Ziegler Cooper Architects and HOK includes lead design roles on projects such as Repsol’s Americas Headquarters, NASA’s ‘Building 20’ LEED Platinum office building and Schlumberger’s North American Financial Hub.
With Navarro’s background in environmental graphic design and Friedman’s experience integrating a company’s brand seamlessly into its design, their team will share a strong focus on the integration of each client’s company culture into interiors projects.
