Northeast Fort Bend Fire Station

Sugar Land, TX

Services provided for this new neighborhood fire station included programming, architectural and engineering design. The station provides joint use facilities for the EMS and Fire departments in Northeast Fort Bend County. It includes 4 pull-thru full-size apparatus bays, and 1 EMS bay plus apparatus support spaces, dorms, and offices for the Fire Department staff. The EMS facilities are separated from the firefighting facilities. The exterior of the station is compatible with the nearby residential and commercial neighborhood location while at the same time meeting strict budget requirements for this design-build project. It is a brick and stucco veneer skin over a prefabricated metal structure. The project is nearing completion.
