Design Professional - Worship, Education & Community
Qualifications:
(Minimum educational, licensing and experience requirements)
Education/Licensing Accreditation:
4 or 5 year Bachelor of Arch or Master of Architecture degree.
Pursuing registration.
Experience
Minimum 5 - 7 years of work experience in Worship, Education and/or Community building types ranging in size from 10,000 SF to 100,000 sf
LEED Accreditation and experience with LEED is a plus.
Responsibilities
Participate in Architectural Design, under the direction of a design principal, through all phases of a project including master planning, programming, schematic design and design development.
Conceives and executes creative concepts of architectural design.
Is responsible for preparation of the construction documents and manages the technical coordination of construction documents by others including specifications and internal approval of materials and construction.
Reports to Studio Leader for the design team’s work schedule and strives to meet project goals and commitments.
Interprets and implements building codes.
Brings to the attention of the appropriate senior individuals within the firm project issues and situations which require involvement by others to resolve.
Communication Skills
Has proven verbal presentation skills.
Has proven graphic presentation skills.
Is able to participate in marketing interviews.
Has proven client communication skills
Technical Skills
Must be proficient in Revit.
Is proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project Schedule is a PLUS.
