Donald Hickey, AIA

Donald Hickey joined Ziegler Cooper in 2011, after graduating from Masters program at Rice University. Donald brings more than 10 years of experience in architecture, design and construction administration, with a focus on high-rise-, mixed-use and high-density urban residential developments. Researching design materials and construction materials for many different types of projects has given Donald high versatility in the industry. Paired with his verbal skills, Donald has proven his ability to manage a job from start to finish time and time again.

As Associate Principal, Donald acts as the lead on projects he oversees, often coordinating projects from inception through construction. Their role includes coordinating the interface between architecture and interiors, and facilitating unit design and finish/fixture/furniture selections. Furthermore, they lead in the assessment and verification of Code, ADA, Fair Housing, and ANSI compliance.
