Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church

Ziegler Cooper was initially approached by Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church in Dickinson, Texas to design a new master plan for the existing campus.  After completing the master plan, Ziegler Cooper provided design services for a new chapel building and renovations for the existing church building. These new additions have allowed the church to expand its total capacity while updating the overall aesthetic appearance of the campus and bringing all facilities up to modern standards. The design team was tasked with incorporating the preexisting stained glass features throughout the church building. The placement and orientation of the glass maximizes visibility throughout the interior of the building, while also allowing abundant natural light to fill the church.
