St. Francis de Sales began in 1962 to serve the developing neighborhoods in Southwest Houston. Their campus has evolved over the last fifty years to accommodate the growing congregation. The most recent addition to the campus was dedicated in 2012 and includes an Adoration Chapel with Narthex, Sanctuary Sacristy and a larger Sanctuary platform. The expanded Narthex and Chapel create a 150-seat Liturgy Day Chapel, a Work Sacristy, a Priest’s Sacristy and a Bride’s Parlour. The renovation also includes three reconciliation rooms, a quieting room, a Nursery and a Groom’s room along with a baptistery, radius pews, and an interior finish replacement throughout.
