Briggs & Veselka Co., the 8th largest public accounting firm in the Houston area, engaged Ziegler Cooper to provide design services for the firm´s 2012 move to Levels 16 and 17 in 9 Greenway Plaza. Having occupied their former office space for over a decade, the client was anxious to evaluate the latest trends in workplace design. Design goals for the 46,932 sf space included creating a more contemporary look and feel, allowing for more openness and natural light, new furniture, providing visual identity to the office ´neighborhood´ work environments and a larger, better designed multi-purpose and training facility. The finishes and details are simple with the limited and elegant use of bright color. 9 Greenway Plaza has unobstructed views to the east, and these high floors offer a beautiful view of downtown Houston.
