Art in Architecture at Camden Downtown

Well-known Houston Street Artist, Gonzo247, created concepts for artwork at Camden Downtown. The mural is located above the 5-story podium on the structure surrounding the amenity deck.

This piece, entitled “The Calm and The Courage,” is the newest addition to Gonzo247’s Hybrid of Humanity art series. The artist used various interpretations of his interactions with indigenous cultures in North America, Africa, Asia, and Northern Europe to inspire representative artistic content. He then created a mash up of those experiences, with traditional elements of graffiti art culture for this representation of Humanity Working as One.

Hybrid of Humanity is the absorption of culture and influential experiences. Diversity acting as one and represented in shapes and colors.”
— Gonzo247
