Charles Middlebrooks, AIA, CSI, LEED AP EB+OM

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in environmental design and a master’s degree of architecture and master’s of construction management, Charles has more than 45 years of experience in architecture, construction and building envelope consulting to the firm. Since 2001 Charles has been on board with Ziegler Cooper assisting with a wide variety of projects. After many years in the industry, Charles is incredibly well versed preparing all the specifications for ZCA’s project manuals. This allows for impeccable sustainable design practices in all technical aspects of getting a project built.

Charles Middlebrooks is a Senior Project Architect and serves as the firm’s Waterproofing and Building Envelope expert. Over the years, Charles has strengthened his specialization in all forms of moisture control in building construction, applicable to roofing, waterproofing and curtain walls. He also specializes in energy conservation, green building design and specification development in the high-rise residential and commercial office markets. Charles not only loves the outdoor aspect of his work, he also makes time for gardening and fishing as well.
